FAIRMOUNT PUBLIC LIBRARY WILL BE CLOSED MONDAY, MARCH 23 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC.

     WiFi may still be accessed from outside the building through the password: goaheadandread.  The network is fpl.

HOOPLA is available 24/7 with your library card number, an e-mail address and Internet service:  hoopladigital.com.

UNTIL MARCH 30, HOOPLA HAS ADDED OVER 1,000 TITLES IN A VARIETY OF FORMATS FOR YOU TO CHOOSE FROM.  THESE TITLES WILL NOT COUNT AGAINST YOUR CHECK-OUT LIMIT!   HOOPLA AND FAIRMOUNT PUBLIC LIBRARY WANT TO KEEP YOU ENTERTAINED WHILE YOU SHELTER-IN-PLACE!

All materials checked out will have an extended due date and no overdue fines will be charged during the closed timeline.

Materials may be returned in the outdoor dropbox.

COLORING FOR ENJOYMENT

Open to all ages will meet the third Tuesdays from 6-7:30pm.  Supplies are furnished, but feel free to bring your own.

PAINTING WITH LouRae:   Acrylic painting is held the first Saturdays in the Fall and Winter.  Fee for supplies: $25.  Open to any age.

LEGOS CLUB will meet the third Tuesdays from 4-5pm for elementary students.

Effective August 17, 2015, faxing charge will increase for the first faxed page.   The fee will now be $2.00 for 1st page.  The cover sheet is still free and any additional faxed pages remain at $50c each page.   Increased phone charges have resulted in this service’s first increase.

Interested in serving on the Library Board?

The library is looking for individuals residing in the Fairmount township to serve as a library board trustee. You must have lived in the township for at least two years to be eligible. This is a four-year term and the board meets the second Wednesday of every month, 6pm at the library. Please contact Linda for more information. Names are being taken for future reference.

Looking for a meeting place?

217 S. Main St has an open concept floor plan.   There are several tables scattered in the Children’s, Adult and Teen areas.   These are available during the Library Operating hours.

After hours use must be discussed with the Library Director and will be charged an hourly fee for the Library to be open.

Ink Cartridge Recycling

Bring in your old, used up inkjet cartridges (sorry, no Epson) and we will recycle them for you! You will help replenish our public computer ink fund.

The Best of Fairmount Desserts Cookbook is being sold for $5.00. Only a few left of the limited edition size!

The ALL-IN Block Party Cookbook is being sold for $10.00 (limited edition size).   Proceeds from the sale of the cookbooks will go towards Library programming needs.
